UPDATE 2/2019: Kat decided to maintain all current statistics until FOLIO is in place. After that we might consider running only #2,4,8,12,19 (top 100 only for 12 & 19). Another consideration is which statistics might be relevant to collection development.
Except for fiscal and calendar year reports, SFX statistic queries are set up as cron jobs, running on the 14th of the following month, 6:00-7:15 a.m. Central/Chicago time. Crons send files to DRMS email or files can be found in SFX Admin>UNIX File Manager>dbs/scratch. Statistics reports crons can be rescheduled through SFX Admin>Statistics>Queries>(Query#)>Schedule. Crons can be removed UNIX side (da>“crontab -l” to list jobs, “crontab -e” to edit). SFX statistics are automatically archived by ExLibris each month, leaving 12 months in the file for running year and FY stats. Archived files may be retrieved through server_admin_util → 5 → 3. To avoid re-instating archived files, do fiscal and calendar stats soon after January and July 1.
MONTHLY AND YEARLY: SFX Queries 2,3,4,5,6,8,10,11,12 are run by cron monthly, adding 14 and 19 for calendar and fiscal year stats. Calendar and fiscal year stats are done manually. RUN TOP 100 ONLY for queries 2,10,11,12,14,19. Stat reports are manually opened from email file, checked, and stored at Q:/DRMS/SFX/SFX_statistics.
