When we lose access to electronic resources (i.e. cancellation, no longer “free”), we need to update this information in several places.
_____ Notify vendor
_____ Make calendar entry
_____ Make notation in order record, and change status
_____ Cancel encumbrance if funds have **not** already been encumbered
_____ Add note to Dblist (if applicable)
_____ If access is to cease at a future date:
_____ Make note in eleres calendar (optional: add also to personal calendar/to-do file)
_____ Send vendor a cancellation notification, and file in cancellation folder in eleres
_____ Suppress Bib. & Holdings record if there is no other access
_____ Credit selector if appropriate:
_____ (W:\Departmental_Folders\Acquisitions\FY(xx)_selector_credits.xls)
_____ Notify Liz F. if it needs to be deactivated in dblocator.
__???___ Give all non-MarcIt records to Meghan B. ???
_____ Notify C. Turner for posting to eleres blog
_____ Remove From/Close In:
_____ Contacts File (i.e., password, admin access)
_____ Restricted Page via Webhelp ticket, if applicable.
_____ SFX
_____ Notify E-Reserves, if applicable.
_____ If paper file exists, move out of active drawers.
