When we lose access to electronic resources (i.e. cancellation, no longer “free”), we need to update this information in several places.
_____ Make notation in order record, and change status
_____ Cancel encumbrance if funds have **not** already been encumbered
_____ Add note to Dblist (if applicable)
_____ If access is to cease at a future date:
_____ Print out bib. record
_____ Make notation of pertinent information
_____ Place in cancellation pile on table, or in personal folder
_____ Send vendor a cancellation notification, and file in cancellation folder in eleres
_____Suppress Bib. & Holdings record if there is no other access
____Credit selector credits if appropriate
_____ (W\Departmental_Folders\Acquisitions\FY(xx)_selector_credits.xls)
_____ Notify Liz F. if it needs to be de-activated in dblocator.
_____ Give all non-MarcIt records to Meghan B.
_____ Notify C. Turner for posting to electronic resources blog
_____ Remove From/Close In:
_____ Verde
_____ Username Password File
_____ Restricted Page via Webhelp ticket, if applicable.
_____ SFX
_____ Notify E-Reserves, if applicable.
_____ If paper file exists, move out of active drawers to inactive drawer.
