Submissions Open for Undergraduate Sustainability Research Award 2024

The UMass Amherst Libraries are pleased to announce that submissions are now open for the Undergraduate Sustainability Research Award 2024. Interested undergraduates can submit their projects here; submissions are open now through March 15 at 11:55 p.m.

The competition is open to all currently enrolled UMass Amherst undergraduates. Five winners will be chosen and receive $1000 scholarships. The winning projects will be uploaded to the university’s digital repository.

The Undergraduate Sustainability Research Award promotes in-depth understanding of sustainability topics, research strategies, and the use of library resources, providing participating students with vital skills they will carry into future academic and vocational endeavors. It is funded by the award-winning UMass Amherst Libraries’ Sustainability Fund.
