Requires a PC equipped with Chinese fonts and input capability and proprietary software. Software is set up on library computers. Follow these instructions to install proprietary software on your own computer. Off-campus access requires connecting through the UMass proxy server. Clicking on the link above will download a document that ends in 4kdoc - double-click on this doc and it will invoke the proxy server login and then open the software for your use. This is not an elegant solution, but it does work. If you have problems or questions, please contact Sharon Domier ( for help.
